TAMBOO: A sub-inspector of police sustained injuries, while an attacker was killed in exchange of fire on Wednesday.
According to reports, Police, acting on a tip, conducted a search operation in Tamboo. During the operation,the armed men opened indiscriminate firing on the police. A Sub-Inspector Muhammad Murad Bhangar was injured in the firing. Police gave a befitting response and killed an attacker.
Injured SI was shifted to civil hospital DeraMuradJamali and referred to Larkana in serious condition.
Police arrested 12 suspects and recovered weapons from their possession.
