GUJRAT: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq on Saturday said that the judiciary interferes in civil matters because of the ruling government’s negligence.
“It is because of the ruling government’s inability to produce results that the judiciary interferes in civil matters. If the government’s don’t function efficiently, judiciary and other institutions get the chance to pull the strings,” Sirajul Haq said while speaking to the ceremony in Gujrat.
Continuing his criticism of the PML-N government, the JI chief said that “the ruling government is the agent of foreign establishments.”
He also complained that “we too vote for those who we continuously curse and abuse.” Siraj added that as long as the ‘corrupt’ politicians continue to rule the country, no positive change would be seen.
The JI chief also stressed that the party has saved Maulana Fazlur Rehman from the ‘claws’ of the rulers, while he also dismissed the idea of forming an alliance with any political party. “Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) is the way forward for us,” he said.
