ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani on Thursday referred both Credit Bureaus (Amendment) Bill, 2016 and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (Amendment) Bill, 2016 to concerned standing committee for further deliberation.
Minister for Finance and Revenue Ishaq Dar presented both the bills including the bill further to amend the Credit Bureaus Act, 2015 [The Credit Bureaus (Amendment) Bill, 2016] and bill further to amend the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Act, 1997 [The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (Amendment) Bill, 2016] in the House. The bills have already been passed by the National Assembly.
